They have joined forces with Betty Crocker to raise money to help keep fulfilling those wishes! How can you help? Why, I thought you'd never ask!

In exchange for donating $5 through their website to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, you will recieve $5 in Betty Crocker coupons! Talk about a win-win...not only are you helping to support a wonderful cause, you are getting your investment back in coupons for a great brand that you probably already use anyway!
You can also purchase any of the specially marked Stirring Up Wishes Betty Crocker products this spring, for each package purchased, 10 cents will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, with a minimum $250,000 donation already promised!
Betty Crocker was kind enough to send me a Stirring Up Wishes prize pack, including a package of their delish brownie mix, a bag of the fabulous chocolate chip cookie mix, a special Betty Crocker mixing spoon, in addition to making a $25 donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation in my behalf!
We decided to try out the cookie mix today! To be quite honest, I have never made chocolate chip cookies from a mix before, so I was very intrigued to try it out!
The bag calls for one stick of butter and one egg-I made a few adjustments. I'm currently on a quest to shrink my waistline and lower my cholesterol-and rather than eating no cookies at all, I made them a little more diet friendly so I could have one when it was fresh out of the oven. You know, so I could give you an honest review. I'm only thinking of you guys here!!!
So, I used a stick of I Can't Believe It's Not Butter and some Eggbeaters instead. I was a little concerned about how it was going to turn out, but I shouldn't have been worried! Especially since I had cookie making experts around to help me out if I ran into trouble....
So easy. Add butter, egg, mix, and stir. Voila! Cookie dough! I did the unthinkable and tried just a smidge of the dough...
And while it was most certainly dough, it tasted a smidge too much like mix...like you could taste the flour and baking soda? Again, I shouldn't have been worried. I continued on....
And got them into the oven. After a short ten minutes, we ended up with these beauties....
Just let me tell you....they were good. Really, really good. It took all the will power I possess to only have one. They baked up crispy and delicious on the edges, but delicious and chewy in the center. And the taste...absolutely no mix taste remained, just chocolate chip cookie deliciousness! Did I mention that they were delicious?:) I will definitely be trying this mix again. The experts concurred with my opinion.
