I just posed that question to The Curly Haired One. I took some Nyquil last night for the Cold That Will Never End, which allowed me to get a delicious night's sleep, but has left me utterly and completely brain dead this morning. And not feeling any better. But that's a whole other blog post. Anyhoo-
Me: "Curly Haired One, what should Mama write about today?"
CHO: "You should write about like, fancy stuff, like fancy skirts."
Me: "What kind of fancy skirts?"
CHO: "Like, rainbow fancy skirts. Blue, purple, red."
The Little One: "Sissy, come play wif me!"
CHO: "Hold on, I'm writing with my mother."
(I go to Google and image search for Rainbow Fancy Skirts)
Me: "Like this one?"
CHO: "Yes, I like the colors, it's beautiful and fancy and people would want to wear it with a fancy shirt. That's what I like about it."
Me: "Awesome. What do you want to talk about next?"
CHO: "Purple Dresses."
Me: "What kind of purple dresses? What do you like about purple dresses?"
CHO: "Sparkly purple dresses. I like the beauty of purple sparkly dresses."

Me: "Is this what you had in mind?"
CHO: "Yes. I like the color and the sparkle and how it's made. It's stylin'. It makes me feel rainbowed."
Me: "Awesome. Now what do you want to talk about?"
CHO: "Babies! They are so cute and they have their cute little smell and cute clothes and stuff and strollers."
Me: "So, do you like babies?"
CHO: "Yes. I like that they're so cute."
Really. I hadn't picked up on that, that you felt that way.
