When Shannon over at The Mommy Files announced that she was organizing a Bloggers Valentine's Swap, I jumped at the chance to sign up! It sounded like such a fun way to get to know another blogger and to go shopping for someone else. I was even more excited when I got Michelle from Flying Giggles and Lollipops as my swap partner...I'd been lurking over there for quite awhile now, and love it! Michelle also has two small daughters like myself (including a blondie with curls! Sound familiar?), and she is a total superwoman-has a rockin' blog, a great fam, and is beautiful to boot!
I came home from a flustering afternoon of grocery shopping, couponing, and cranky kiddos to find a lovely package awaiting me. See my messy kitchen behind the package? Yeah, it was that kind of afternoon.
Michelle had packed it full of goodies, and hit a home run on all of them, including a delicious candle for Mama,
A totally awesome sugar cookie kit, cutters, and sprinkles that we are going to put to use for The Curly Haired One's preschool V-Day Party on Friday, and my favorite candy in the entire world (I told myself I'm going to ration it and cut off a small chunk every night between now and V Day. We'll see how that goes. I'm not hopeful.)
She also included a super fun Valentine's themed book, complete with stickers,
and Play Doh for the girls. Seriously so thoughtful.
Michelle-you outdid yourself. Thank you so much for the perfect Valentine's Day Package, and indoctrinating me into the world of blogger's swaps in style.
