For all the smack I talk, mostly via inner monologue because I really don't like conflict or hurting people I like, I'm generally a happy person. When I am stressed out, bummed out, or just plain pissed off, I really do try to keep it to myself. I like my blog to be a place of positivity...you catch more flies with honey, right? Well, sometimes you just have to let it out. So that's what made me think of Bitch and Moan Monday. Share your complaints, leave it here, and move on to a great week!!
****Now available: anonymous commenting is turned on! If your bitches and moans are too private or embarrassing to link your name to, there will be an option to leave it anonymously! I won't even know who it is commenting! Feel free to leave it here!
I woke up with a kink in my shoulder/neck area. You're thinking, "Ok, Kisha, I know you're a huge whiner, but really, that's what you're posting about today? A kink in your neck? Wah. Cry me an effing river." Oh, but no, for once in my illustrious life as a drama queen, I am not overexaggerating or being dramatic. (Well, maybe a tiny bit dramatic. It is me, after all.) This is the kink to overwhelm all kinks.
I awoke this morning to my husband kissing the back of my head to say goodbye before he left for work, and when I rolled over to give him a big wet one, for once it wasn't him screaming at the glimpse of my bedhead and raccoon eyes, it was me screaming because it felt like someone took a hand mixer and twisted my trapezoid into one big knot. I cried my face off for 20 minutes while Mr. Floren tried to rub out said knot (not nearly as sexy as it sounds) to no avail.
Massage, while lovely-no help. Aleve-no help. Coffee-no help. Heating pad-no help. Icy Hot-feels tingly, but no help. I'm stuck in a perpetual "Heil, Hitler" motion, yet I am definitely NOT a Nazi sympathist. I have about a 30 degree range of motion in my neck right now, which isn't very conducive to, well, life, really.
And of course, I slacked all weekend, too busy exercising, flirting with my husband, and playing with my girls, to do all the laundry and coupon clipping and grocery shopping that needed to be done, instead "leaving it for Monday, because I'll be more in the mood to be productive." Ha.
I'm going to go smack my head into the wall repeatedly, in the hopes that it will distract me from the misery burrowing itself into my neck....do me a solid and leave your best Bitches and Moans in the comments!!!
