For all the smack I talk, mostly via inner monologue because I really don't like conflict or hurting people I like, I'm generally a happy person. When I am stressed out, bummed out, or just plain pissed off, I really do try to keep it to myself. You catch more flies with honey, right? Well, sometimes you just have to let it out. So that's what made me think of Bitch and Moan Monday. Seems like I am at my worst Monday mornings, and heaven knows I can't vent to my husband...he's one of those typical males that wants to fix everything instead of just listening. I tell him about the cell phone guy that was rude to me, he doesn't just listen and agree that it was the rudest thing ever and how dare someone talk to me like that! Instead, he gets the guy fired. Which is really hot and all, but putting someone in the unemployment line doesn't really make me feel better in the long run. So, let's vent here! Leave a me a comment with all of your bitching and moaning. Anything and everything, get it out. We can all vent, read each other's vents, hopefully have a laugh, let it go and move on! I for one can't wait to start this week out right!
****Now available: anonymous commenting is turned on! If your bitches and moans are too private or embarrassing to link your name to, there will be an option to leave it anonymously! I won't even know who it is commenting! Feel free to leave it here!
Alrighty, y'all, I'll totally admit it, I'm going to be super mega lame at Bitching and Moaning today. I don't have a whole lot to complain about! I've worked about 40 hours this week on personalizing ornaments, and at least another 20 writing and miscellaneous bloggy stuff, so that tells you how much I've been sleeping-yet I'm oddly energized. It's very nice to have a purpose. Speaking of that miscellaneous bloggy stuff-In Through The Out Door has a button! Grab it off my sidebar or here, let me know when you have it up and I will be happy to reciprocate! The blog also has a Facebook page-become a fan for updates, cool links, and exclusive chances for extra entries to Freebie Fridays! But, I digress. This is Bitch and Moan Monday, after all, not Kittens and Rainbows Monday. So here is a list of things that I think suck.
Things That Suck, By Kisha
- As much as I wanted him to be wrong, my Dad was correct and money indeed does not grow on trees. I was really hoping he was full of crap, like my Mom was when she told me eating the crusts of my sandwiches would make my hair grow faster.
- The fact that my kitty Abby and my beautiful Christmas tree have to coexist in the same house for the next three weeks. I get it though...the sparkly lights and the shiny ornaments are almost enough to make me scamper up the thing and knock all the glass ornaments onto the ground. Almost.
- iShootMe: the girls, mostly the curly haired one, have discovered iCarly on Nickelodeon. I protested at first, but after being forced to watch an episode or two, relented-it's actually kind of cute, pretty tame, and if she wants to spend her limited TV time watching tween fluff, I'm okay with that. It's probably kind of tough being four and learning new stuff all day long, like reading and writing your whole name when your dumb mom gave you the longest name ever and taking turns and not hitting your sister because she looked at you funny. I'm guessing it's kind of like that.
Okay, kids, that's all I've got for today! Help me out and tell me the number one thing that you think sucks! Do so and earn an extra entry into the most excellent Freebie Friday this week, a beautiful hand knit scarf by Sara Whatley!
