Hi there. My name's Kisha, but you most likely already know that if you're here. I'm a mom, and a wife. I love pop culture and chemistry. Melrose Place and Mythbusters. Korn and Kelly Clarkson. I spend as much time chewing on my nails as I do filing and painting them. I suppose that's why I chose this particular name for my blog, it feels like I always do everything against the current. My husband and I fell in love before we ever even met each other, moved in together after meeting once, got married after we had two children together, and like and love each other more every day we spend together. (Like and love are totally two different feelings.) We like to be difficult, to do things backwards. So, I thought "In Through The Out Door" was appropriate, and not only because Led Zeppelin is amazing.
Mostly, I've come to the conclusion that I'm starting this blog to feed my narcissism. Because, really, as a writer, you have to assume that people are going to want to read what you have to write. So to be successful, I suppose some narcissism is necessary...I think I have enough to make it work. And I can always post updates/pics of my adorable children who are much more entertaining than myself, just to keep you around.
See what I mean? Adorable. And yes, that is lemonade in her hand, I do not endorse giving soda to small children. As if the nutrition issues weren't enough, I absolutely do not hate myself enough to give my kids pure liquid sugar. They are plenty crazy au naturale.
